Correction to my earlier notification.  The meeting is on September 17, not the 20th.

There will be a Regular meeting this Thursday, September 17, 2015. Please plan to attend.

The sponsorship committee will meet at 6:15 and a board meeting will follow the general meeting.

Location: Public Safety Hut

Social Hour: 6:30

Dinner: at 7:30, or when the bell rings.

Menu: Grilled Pork Chops, Salad, Baked Potato, Vegetable

There will be a special vido showing of people hearing for first time.  You will want to see it.

Due to some unforeseen logistical problems, University Hospital has had to postpone the John Schmidt Memorial dedication that was scheduled for next Wednesday, 9/16/15.  It will most likely be rescheduled for sometime about the second week of Octobrer.  We will let evreryone know the date when we know it.

Sorry for the late notice, but just received notice that parking may be a problem tonight at the HUT.

There are two events going on in the surrounding area which are:

1. Public Hearing at the Community Center regarding the Pipeline, which begins at 6PM

2.  Music in the park at band shell, which begins at 7PM

It would probably be a good idea to arrive early to the meeting or you might have to walk a bit.

 

 

North Augusta Sertoma has made a donation to the Speech and Hearing Clinic this year in the amount of $12,000 and they have invited us to breakfast and a facility tour on Thursday, May 28 at 8:30 am.

If you are interested in attending, please reply to this message.  They have advised that one of the patients ( a young girl) that we have assisted will be in attendance.

We’ll also be taking a head count at the meeting this Thursday, May 21  so we can give UH a heads-up.

FYI, NA Sertoma has sponsored a team to play at Ft. Jackson in Columbia on October 27.   We will be represented by: Wes Summers, Lou Wegner, Billy Nelson, and Jerry Flamders.
