Minutes From North Augusta Sertoma Club Semi-annual Budget Meeting

Board In Attendance:      Young, Faulkner, Gillian ,   Goble,      Hewett , London, Smith,   Lott,   Brown, Corbitt, Murphy, Jones .  Absent: McDowell , Summers, Ford , Madebach,

Call to  order: 6:31 PM

 

Treasurer David Hewett presented the current budget. The Board reviewed and discussed the various spending categories and status of expenditures and remaining amounts in each category.

 

• Motion to postpone the Valentines Day party due to COVID. Future date TBD – Motion passed
• Discussion about postponing further meeting due to COVID. Decided that K. Gillian will poll members at next meeting.
  • David Brunson suggested we purchase masks and hand sanitizer and make them available at meetings.
• Motion to add \$10,000.00 to annual budget from charities money. There was much discussion about the need to keep a minimum (as much as \$100,000) in back up for future charity needs. Motion failed
• The Board decided to continue with the same budget with the same percentages assigned to each category and the same total dollar values assigned to the overall budget of \$72,000.00
